About Digit
The ESRC Centre for Digital Futures at Work (Digit) researches the challenges, opportunities, and impacts of digital transformation in work. Led by the University of Sussex and University of Leeds, with multiple academic and industry partners, Digit connects government, business, trade unions, and third-sector organisations.
The Brief
Digit are holding an 'CoLab' event in London to communicate Digit's research agenda. Using the ESRC Centre's visual identity and logo along side a selection of images from the Better Images of AI library, design a set of 5 posters, 5 postcards, and a 4-page A5 leaflet to brand the event. The materials should also serve as a takeaway to encourage future engagement.
Our Approach
To balance the wide range of intricate and visually rich imagery with the brand elements we introduced a grid system which overlaid elements of the brand mark to create both space and clarity for the typography and also a consistent visual approach across the 5 posters. Applying the brand in an interesting and engaging way.
“Two Pens were fantastic from start to finish. They immediately got the brief, asked all the right questions, and designed a set of posters, postcards and a leaflet using images from the Better Images of AI library that really brought our event to life. We gave the postcards away but everything looked so good we also had to stop people from stealing the posters!”
